A few days of rest

Well, what do you do to top that???? Niagra Falls were amazing...as you can see by the pics.

We spent a day around the Niagra Falls area and then headed east again.

We landed in a area called Schenectady, New York. A very beautiful area where you can start to see the leaves changing on the trees...

And still there we relaxed and I went to the gym (thank god...cause all I do on holidays is eat....lol)

We tried to golf one day and decided that although the course was beautiful, we sucked!!!!!!

Then off to Enfield, Conneticut to hang out with Daniels family. Once there we were on the road heading south to the coast. A lovely state park called Hammonasset beside a town named Clinton. Funny little state Conneticut is...from the top (north) to the shore is only a hour. In any direction you are only about 1 to 1.5 hours away from either state line....even so within the community where DR's family is. Just down the block is a granite state line maker. Just sitting on the property line of Mr. Jones and Mrs. Smith....very old town stuff. Big old tress. Maples, Oak and lots of vines overrunning trees and even telephone lines.

The sunset on the east coast at Hammonasset was beautiful......it made me think of home. I hope you enjoy it.

Since being here, with Steve, Daniels nephew, we have enjoyed alot of good food. Deep fried turkey (dry rubbed, not injected) at the beach at Hammonasset. Then on our way home to Enfield, the BEST pizza I have had since New York Style Pizza in Nanaimo first opened. Fresh roasted pepper, their own baked chicken and a spicy cajun sausage called Andula (i know I have spelled this wrong) So goooooood. Especially with a ice cold draught beer. Of course, their own homemade "red sauce" mmmmmmm

The next day off to Deerfeild where we spent alot of time in a place calle Yankee Candle. A huge candle factory that went crazy. Now it is like a Coombs market on crack...super big with everything inside that you can imagine.

For lunch to a great tavern (the kids can come in with us here) for amazing food. New England Seafood Pie ect....

We went into Springfield Mass to day and had lunch at a wonderful cajun restaurant. Gumbo and cajun crab cakes for me. DR had Lenny's Chicken and Sausage Cajun Ya Ya.....ya hoooooo

See girls everywhere we go....there we are LOL LOL LOL

Today we went in search of the Indian motorcycle factory and museum....

We were very sad to find out that the original factory (and museum) have been moved. The museum is now part of a couple of museums that highlites the history of Springfield Mass's industrial history. It was not open but I did get a pic of the old factory and I picked up a info sheet for my friends in BC who have the love of "Indian Motorcycles" Hello Dehran, Lisa, Jessi, Keith, Hazel, Ron and Mary.
