MY BOARDWALK WALK

Virginia Beach has a boardwalk that runs for 44 blocks. Just over 3 miles.....

And since my clothes are still tight I figured that I should get some extra exercise.

I headed out from 30th ave and round trip was 4 miles....

KING NEPTUNE

The beach is home to many hotels all facing the ocean. Very long beautiful sandy beaches with lots of restaurant ranging from Dairy Queen to high end eateries....

In between the hotels (where the streets would have run to the ocean) it is blocked off and there are a few creatures I thought I would share with you

For my friend, Sue

A happy tourtoise...(I thought little Mary Bronson would like him)

Some dancing fish

And some colorfull ones

Some one is feeling "crabby" lol

And then I found some fishermen...spotted bass are in right now

The old life gaurd station

Or, you could ride a horse on the beach if you wanted ...he was playing. Trying to get him to jump the sand dune

Or, catch a wave....lots of surfers here

And, at the end of the walk, a beautiful hotel with a great patio to sit and enjoy a nice drink by the outdoor fire. All while enjoying the sound of the Atlantic ocean

Hola, Shannon

Aren't boardwalks or malecons wonderful. They are so full of life.

It's only a couple of weeks now 'til my amiga gets here and we can walk the malecon in PV and do some people watching.

It'll be great to see Heather and not have to feel awkward about my mouth. I don't go out much. I don't even go sit on the beach cause I'll have to talk to people.

It's depressing and it sucks. I know the days are passing by, but it seems like an eternity since all this began.

I hope you and Daniel continue to have a good time. You deserve to see and experience all that's beautiful out there, Shannon.

This is quite the ride you are on.
